Yodel delivers for mums this Mothers Day
UK’s leading parcel delivery company forecast to deliver over 220,000 flowers this weekend.
Yodel, the UK's leading parcel delivery company, is expecting to deliver 220,000 Mother's Day bouquets across the country this weekend - (Friday 8 - Sunday 10th).
To ensure mums across the UK can receive their treat on the day itself, Yodel's sort and service centres will work through the weekend to provide a special Mothering Sunday delivery service.
Additional trailers will be laid on to collect bouquets and bring them into the Hatfield sort centre, where they will be categorised according to post code and sent on to the relevant local service centre from where they will be delivered.
In addition to proactive pre delivery SMS and email alerts to customers, which Yodel offers to retailers as standard, sons and daughters can also track their orders via Yodel's website and Yodel's customer services will also be opened especially on Sunday to provide information and advice.
Yodel, which has specialist handling for delicate items such as bouquets and wine, which cannot go through the standard sorting process, delivers on behalf of a number of the UK's top florists and works closely on the planning process for Mother's Day deliveries with its clients. Floral deliveries are forecasted for each of Yodel's 57 service centres, which cover every postcode in the UK.
