Yodel extends relationship with Apprentice Supermarket
The telemarketing project provided young apprentices with valuable work experience, to boost their CVs and complement their NVQs in Logistics. It also helped Yodel to secure new client contracts, adding another 400,000 parcels to the company's annual volumes.
Following the successful 2012 trial, Yodel has committed to extending the working relationship with Apprentice Supermarket in 2013.
Peter Fisher, Chief Commercial Officer, Yodel commented; "Engaging with Apprentice Supermarket has enabled us to take our service proposition to a broad but targeted audience and secure valuable new business leads.
"It has also supported the communities in which we operate by providing training opportunities for young apprentices, giving them the experience they need to get a firm foothold on the career ladder.
