Yodel successfully delivered a record 20 million parcels
Yodel, the UK’s leading parcel delivery company, announces that it has delivered over 20 million parcels* in time for Christmas.
This is a record and a significant uplift from both 2009 (14.5 million parcels) and 2010 (12.8 million parcels but this volume in 2010 was impacted by the adverse weather in the lead up to Christmas).
More importantly in the last week before Christmas 999 out of every 1,000 deliveries were successfully completed by the end of Christmas Eve.

In what is a difficult economic environment I am delighted that we have been able to work closely with retailers and consumers to ensure that over 20 million parcels have been delivered in December. *All of the above volume figures are based on deliveries made between 1st December and 24th December.
