Can you leave my parcel in a safe place?

Depending on the service your sender has used to deliver your parcel, you may be able to tell your driver of a preferred safe place to leave your parcel before we attempt to deliver. Download the InPost App and set a default safe place for any eligible parcels.

Remember, if you provide a safe place suggestion, it will need to comply with our safe place guidelines of the location being out of sight of passing traffic and that the parcel wrapping will remain dry in any wet weather. Examples of suitable safe place locations are:

Front Porch

Back Porch

Shed

Garage

Greenhouse

Outbuilding

Conservatory

If your sender has requested that the parcel is delivered to a person then our driver will not be able to leave your parcel in a safe place. In this instance, they will attempt to deliver your parcel to a neighbour. We'll send you an email to let you know which neighbour we have delivered to and you'll be able to see a photo of your delivery in the InPost App .
