How do I track my parcel?

I'm expecting a delivery, how can I track its status?

You can track your parcel above, you’ll need your tracking number and your delivery postcode or get delivery updates on the go and download the Yodel app.

Why doesn't my parcel have a tracking number yet?

If you have just ordered your goods it may take a short time for the parcel information to update on our systems. If you have had your parcel number for more than a day and there is no tracking information please contact the sender to verify the number is correct and that the parcel has been passed over to Yodel.

I have received a Yodel card with a parcel reference number on it. What should I do next?

Firstly check the front of the card to see what instructions the driver has left.

Your parcel may be in a safe place on your property, with a neighbour, or our driver may still have it. If our driver still has the parcel please do the following;

If you have received a green card our local driver will have left their mobile number on the back of the card and you can contact them any time up until 9pm.

If you have received an orange card please visit our self service page where you can select another day or arrange to collect from your local depot.

If we don't hear from you, we will automatically re-attempt delivery two more times on the next working day (Monday - Saturday).

Can I track my parcel on the Yodel app?

Yes you can, download the Yodel app and track all your Yodel deliveries and collections in one place. Simply enter your parcel tracking number or click through from your Yodel emails to learn more about your parcel's journey.

How do I set up a safe place for my Yodel parcel delivery?

Once we have received your parcel into the Yodel network, and if your retailer allows it, you can choose to have your parcel delivered to a nominated safe place.

Enter your parcel number on our tracking page to see if you are able to enter this information online. If you provide a safe place suggestion, it will need to comply with our safe place guidelines of the locations being out of sight of passing traffic and that the parcel wrapping will remain dry in any wet weather.

Examples of suitable safe place locations are:

  • Front Porch
  • Back Porch
  • Shed, Garage
  • Greenhouse
  • Outbuilding
  • Conservatory

If your sender has requested a signature as proof of delivery then our driver will not be able to leave your parcel in a safe place. In this instance, they will attempt to deliver your parcel to a neighbour who will be asked to sign as proof of delivery. Your driver will post a card through your letterbox in this instance to inform you of which neighbour your parcel has been delivered to.
