Tour if Britain 2015 Highlights

What a week it's been! Twenty teams took part in this year's Aviva Tour of Britain, cycling more than 1,450 km through some of the UK's best beauty spots - and we watched them battle it out over the Tour's eight grueling stages.

Edvald Boasson-Hagen cycling for MTN-Qhubeka made history on Sunday when he became the first cyclist to win the Tour of Britain for the second time. The 28 year old's solid performance throughout the Tour of Britain meant he had accrued a 13 second lead going into Stage 8 in London.

Stage 8 was very exciting with some added drama at the end when Andre Griepel's stage win was relegated for blocking Elia Viviani in the final sprint, which allowed the Italian cyclist to take his third stage win of the week.

Peter Williams (One Pro Cycling) had an amazing week's cycling: he didn't just take the Skoda King of the Mountains jersey but also won our very own Yodel Direct Sprint jersey!

Aviva Tour of Britain 2015 has seen incredible support from the public with the streets lined with cheering fans throughout all eight stages. If you were at an event, check out the Aviva Tour of Britain Hall of Fame to see if your picture is featured!

If you've been following our Twitter feed, you will also know that we have a great hamper competition that's still going on. We've been lucky to receive some fantastic donations from the cycling teams, partners, and sponsors of the event.  You can still enter the competition!

We love being a part of Aviva Tour of Britain by being the event's official logistics partner. Our sponsorship has also re-fuelled a passion for cycling within Yodel: in October we have a group of our employees taking part in the Aviva Tour Ride. The event is open to all cyclists (no matter what level!), and you can find out more about how you can get involved here.

Here are some of our best moments of this year's Tour of Britain. Don't forget to share your own highlights with us by tweeting your photos to us @YodelDirect or through Instagram by tagging them #TOByodel.
